Child Therapy, Nurturing Young Minds

At Evolve Minds, Child and Family Therapy offers a nurturing, engaging environment where children feel safe to explore their feelings, express themselves, and grow with confidence.
Dr Riham supports children in developing emotional awareness, resilience, and social understanding, while helping them navigate behavioural, developmental, or adjustment challenges with compassion and skill.

Each session is play-based and child-centred, using techniques such as play, storytelling, drawing, and creative expression to help children process experiences in ways that feel natural and meaningful. This approach helps children build essential emotional and social skills — including empathy, cooperation, communication, and problem-solving — within a space that feels both fun and secure.

A Collaborative Approach with Families

Parents and caregivers are an important part of every child’s therapeutic journey.
Dr Riham works closely with families to strengthen parent-child relationships, providing practical strategies and guidance to support progress at home. Together, therapy becomes a shared process of growth — nurturing trust, emotional connection, and long-term wellbeing.

What Therapy for Children Involves

Sessions are tailored to the unique needs and developmental stage of each child. Depending on the goals, therapy may include:

  • Play-Based Therapy – helping children express feelings through symbolic and creative play

  • Establishing Trust and Comfort – building a secure, consistent relationship that encourages openness

  • Child-Centred Approach – letting the child’s interests and pace guide the process

  • Expressive Arts and Activities – using art, games, and storytelling to promote emotional expression

  • Emotional Regulation Skills – helping children understand and manage big emotions

Supporting the Whole Family

Dr Riham’s family-focused approach recognises that children thrive when their environments are supportive and connected. She collaborates with parents, teachers, and allied health professionals to ensure consistent care and holistic support — creating pathways for emotional growth, harmony, and resilience at home and beyond.
