A Calmer, More Natural Approach to Therapy

Walk and Talk Therapy offers an alternative to traditional in-office sessions by combining gentle movement with psychological support. These sessions take place outdoors—in peaceful, natural settings—allowing clients to connect with both their therapist and the environment in a relaxed, grounding way.

Ideal for teens, older children, and adults, this approach encourages open conversation, mindfulness, and emotional release through movement. Walking side-by-side can help reduce the intensity of face-to-face therapy, making it especially helpful for clients who feel anxious, restless, or prefer a less formal setting.

How Walk and Talk Therapy Helps

  • Encourages calmness and reflection through gentle movement and fresh air.

  • Reduces stress, anxiety, and overthinking by incorporating mindfulness and nature-based grounding.

  • Promotes emotional regulation and cognitive clarity through rhythm and flow.

  • Builds confidence and openness, especially for younger clients or those who find traditional therapy environments overwhelming.

  • Supports physical wellness alongside emotional healing.

Dr Riham’s Approach

Dr Riham integrates evidence-based therapeutic models such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) within these sessions. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and person-centred—encouraging each client to slow down, breathe, and reflect while engaging the mind and body in harmony.

Each session is adapted to your pace, comfort, and goals, providing a safe and compassionate space to talk, process emotions, and move toward balance and growth.
